About Gordon Deal
Wednesday 12-19-2007 8:25am AK
Gordon Deal is the host of The Wall Street Journal This Weekend. Gordon's understanding of what listeners need to know and the questions they'd like answered are a perfect match for the show. He was named host of the program in November 2005. Gordon's solid radio background of writing and on-air work includes time on both WCBS-AM and WINS-AM in New York, and as New York City bureau chief for Metro Networks, where his reports aired live on WOR-AM and WABC-AM. He was also a newscaster on The Wall Street Journal Radio Network.

Gordon began his career in radio as a play by play sports announcer in 1986 at Rutgers University, his alma mater. He is also a public address announcer at Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks. His hobbies include fishing, whitewater rafting, and coaching soccer. He lives with his wife Kelly and their two children in central New Jersey.
